PLEASE PLAN TO ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR BOOKED TIME. IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER THE GAME HAS STARTED, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER THE ROOM.

• Hand sanitizer will be located onsite.

• Staff and visitors are asked not to come to our Escape Rooms if they are not feeling well or experiencing ANY COVID-19 symptoms or are currently awaiting testing results and/or had been been asked to self-quarantine by local health department due to contact tracing.

  ​

• In order to lower contact between staff and visitors, we prefer and offer online bookings. In-person sales for walk-ins will only be available during the month of October on the days the haunt is open. With online bookings, you choose the date, time and Escape room that you want to play. As walk-ins, the room of your choosing may not be available without a delay. Please check with the ticket booth or Game Masters for availability.

Our Escape Rooms require a minimum of 4 people, with a maximum of up to 12 or 14 depending on the room.

 

What is an escape game? 
Live-action team-based game where you discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks to escape the room/s. You will have to strategize and work together to beat the game. The puzzles require no special knowledge or skill - just logic, reasoning, and teamwork. The mystery is challenging, and you may not solve it in the given time.

 

How long does it last?
The maximum time you have to escape is 60 minutes for Pirate's Daydream. Shop Class and the Science Lab.

Please plan on being here a total of 1 to 1.5 hour so we can go over rules before starting. In the event that you do not finish in the allotted time, don't worry, we will still let you out.

 

Are we actually locked in?
Yes, the door is looked, but the room is monitored by the Game Master. There is also a "Last resort" key inside the room that can be used at any time. However, if you use this key, you automatically lose the game.

 

Do we need to make reservations?
Yes, as our games are on a set schedule. No tickets will be sold at the door. Reservations can be made from our Bookings page. Online bookings are done on a third party site. Escape Rooms at Chittyville is not responsible for their site performance.

Our games are currently set to private. 

 

Do you have an age limit?

We do not have an age limit. However, children under the age of 18 will have to have at least 1 responsible adult in the room with them.
